Hello,
I have an RCP application that uses the standard property view but I'd like the view to appear in the Show View dialogue under a category that is specific to the application rather than in the "General" category.

I've googled for an answer but can't find one.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi Phil,

You can define a category with the org.eclipse.ui.views extension point and
use the id in the view definition.

Best regards,

Wim
