Hi,

I am very new to the TPTP...I have a RCP Application with a View..(Tree
Viewer)..I want to run the application and record the events performed on
tree view.. and want to replay it...

How can I do this...Can you please provide the appropriate links for
testing RCP application with a View...Is it possible to check the code
coverage after replaying it...

Please help me in testing my RCP application... with TPTP

Thanks,
Srikar

Hi,

TPTP AGR doesn't support RCP applications or code coverage.

If your RCP application is based on features you can export and deploy
them into a clean install of the eclipse runtime and use that to test
your features. You will also need to install the features into the
eclipse IDE you will be using to record your test cases.

This should help you:

Good luck,
Craig

Hi Vibhoodh,
I am assuming you are referring to automated GUI testing using the
Automated GUI Recorder (AGR). The AGR currently does not support
recording and playback of RAP or stand-alone SWT applications. The AGR
currently
supports Eclipse applications, with support for RAP applications in
enhancement:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=114159

Feel free to comment/contribute/monitor this enhancement.
