Hello,
I want to install/start bundles remotely. Is there a web interface (non-UI)
or a way to connect the osgi api to a remote server in order to manage the
bundles? I couldn't find anything in the api ref and the startup guide.
Greetings,
Boyan Yurukov.

Boydan,
easiest thing you can do is start equinox with -console <port> argument,
and then connect remotely using telnet to that port.

That's a bit too low-level and I am not sure how to handle the security.
Does anyone know of a bundle that exports the console functionality to a web
service (soap)? Since the server-side Equinox has support for servlets, it
should be possible. My goal is to make a plugin for Eclipse that takes
locally installed bundles and installes/starts them on a serverside osgi
framework.
Greetings,
Boyan.
