I've just started using equinox, and I was surprised to see the bundles
still installed after restarting the equinox console. How does this
persistency work? where is the list of installed bundles stored? can I
start the console in a non-persistent mode?

Cheers,
reto

For now I found out that things seems to be stored relatively to the
equinox jar, so when using maven its in
~/.m2/repository/org/eclipse/osgi/3.3.0-v20070530/configurat ion/

This is standard OSGi behavior and is not related to the console (the
console just lets you see it). With Equinox you can run with -clean to
clear out the configuration each time you start.
