Hard to work with osgi.bundles paramter in config.ini [message #104657] Sat, 02 February 2008 12:17 Go to next message

Hello!

It is a rather tedious work for us to work with the osgi.bundles parameter.
To have 50 bundle information
into one single line is not a very convinient way of working (Knopflerfish
has support for multi-line)
Is there any plans to change this?

We have started to look at dynamic loading of bundles, using the
installBundle feature. But can not find any good
API for setting the startlevel. Any suggestion in this area appreciated.

Response to my own question:
The StartLevel service also has a method to set at startlevel on bundle, not
only on the framwork.

My question regarading the osgi.bundles paramter syntax still stands!

Martin,

I haven't tested it, but can't you extend config.ini lines with a slash
at the end?
