System Resources Monitoring [message #104015] Fri, 18 January 2008 14:20 Go to next message

Hi,

I'm wondering if there is anything that I can monitor my bundles with in
terms of their CPU usage and memory consumption. For separate desktop
application deployments, I can see this clearly, but when all applications
run within the same VM, this doesn't seem to be straightforward.

Any ideas?

You can check out the Eclipse Core Tools as a start :)

Thanks Cris.

Well, seems informative and tackles a needed part in managing bundles. I
noticed however some adherence to Eclipse platform, and it look to me more
of an aid to those who are developing Eclipse itself. I have two
questions here:

1. Can I use this same plugin to monitor a standalone OSGi application?

2. Are there any indicators that tell me about CPU utilization per bundle?
