Recent JDK7 and JDK6u14 builds include stack trace information, linking
local var JVMTI roots (and I assume JNI JVMTI roots) to specific stack
frames of specific threads.

It would be great to have support for this, both in the UI as well as
through the API.

This deserves a bugzilla entry. Do you mind opening one?

This is not to bother you. Just copy & paste your posting. And you will be
recorded as originator. I am right busy to clean up my desk as I am on
vacation next week. :-) Andreas.

Hi,

I have submitted the first changes to extract the stacktraces info from
newer hprof files, and we have uploaded a new "nightly build" version end
of last week. Mode details in the bugzilla message:

https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=268458

So you can already download the latest version and try out the new feature
- the Thread Stacks query. I enjoyed it a lot. Gives the feeling of using
an "offline" debugger working on a snapshot.

If you have any further suggestions, critics, or in general - any
feedback, then let me know.

Regards,
Krum
