Hi All,

There is a feature in eclipse that you can deattach viewpart from eclipse application window,but when we switch the perspective the viewpart hides.
So is there any way to display the viewpart even after the perspective switching?

Hi All,

Based on the analysis, it happens because in perspectiveHelper class is disposing the deattached view on perspective switching. Is there any way to override this behavior.

No, a detached stack with a view is still part of that perspective. So when you switch perspectives it's removed, and when you switch back it should re-appear.
