If I change the __format=html to __format=pdf I get my report rendered as a pdf and displayed using the browser's pdf plugin.

However the default pdf zoom value seems to vary so I'd like to fix the value myself. I know that when you display a pdf file in the browser directly you can add the zoom= parameter directly but how do you pass this parameter on the BIRT report URL?

Thanks
Mike

Try

http://localhost:8090/3.7.1/frameset?__report=master.rptdesign&__format=pdf&#zoom=100

Thanks Jason, but when I try that it isn't parsing anything after the zoom=100 and prompts me for parameters.

I did find a way to set a default zoom level for myself by using the Adobe Reader GUI and then going to preferences and setting the Default Layout and Zoom. However I would still like to be able to set it directly when the page is launched so that all my users won't have to do this additional setup.

Mike,

Can you not make the zoom parameter the last one?

Hi,
Wanted same help regarding the zoom level.
I have a set of reports to be generated but when exported as pdf except two rpts all are zoomed to 100%. how to set the zoom level for the remaining two, though I haven't set the level for any of the rpt yet.

Thanks for the help in advance.
