Hello,

when I right delete a .di file, the .uml corresponding file is also automatically removed. I think it is an incorrect behavior because the model can exists without the diagram.

Is there a way to remove the .di file only?

Thank you.

I use Papyrus 0.8.2 on Eclipse 3.7.1.

Hi it is a limitation for the moment.
To remove only the di you have to disable the "Di view" filter in the Project Explorer view options.
In project Explorer View > arrow oriented to the bottom > Customize view > Uncheck DI view.

Thanks for the tip but I don't have the "DI view" check box in Model Explorer > arrow oriented to the bottom > Customize View... > Content.
The 2 things I got are :
-UML Model Contents
-Model Contents

Which one I must uncheck?

There is no option in the tab "Filter" on my Eclipse.
It's empty.

How can I get these options?

The "filters" option with the Di View is in the *Project* explorer, not in the *Model* explorer.

True :The "filters" option is in the *Project* explorer, not in the *Model* explorer.

But I don't found the "Di View" option.
See the new screenshot attached.

How can I get this Di view option?

Okay in fact you don't have the correct view sorry, it seems the filter is not present in your platform.

Actually, on the last screenshot, you're using the *Package* explorer, and still not the *Project* explorer Smile

Oops.
Ok now on the correct view: I can uncheck the "Di view" option.
Now, the di files are not agregated[1] bellow a common parent.
But it doesn't resolve my problem : when I delete the ".di" file, the ".uml" is automatically removed!

Is there a way to remove the .di file only?

Thank you.

[1]agregated : my firefox dictionary tells me to put 2 "g" to agregated like this "aggregated" and I see only one "g" in the description of the "Di view" option), probably a spelling error to report.

Hi Yugi,

You can switch from the Papyrus perspective to another Eclipse perspective (e.g. Java perspective), and you should have no problem to delete only the .di file. This is obviously a trick, but I hope that this can help you.

Cheers,

Arnaud
