Got some plugins from Eclipse on my Windows machine that I want to use in Eclipse on my Linux Pardus pc but I can't seem to locate the plugins folder.

How do I setup/install the plugins folder in Linux?

Assuming they are valid plugins, they go into the dropins subdirectory
under your Eclipse installation if you're running Galileo or a more
recent version.

This, however, isn't best practice. The right way to install a plugin is
via Help -> Install New Software and add the update site.

When I do what you suggested, the references I can see refer to 'sites'. What I have from my Windows machine is an actual folder called 'plugins' as apposed to a site. There doesn't seem to be a facility for selecting a physical location that contains my plugins ie my USB drive.

Thanks for your help with this...
