Hi guys,
I am currently trying to install ve 1.1 without success, here is the
context :
- eclipse 3.1 installed via apt-get under ubuntu breezy
- gef 3.1 installed via eclipse's update manager
- emf 2.1 installed via eclipse's update manager
- ve 1.1 supposedely installed by unzipping the archive in my eclipse
installed dir (/usr/share/eclipse previously chmoded to allow user writing)
After launching 'eclipse -clean', ve doesn't appear in the 'Manage
Configuration' window.
Does any of you has some clue about that kind of issue and better a
solution.
thanks in advance,
Alexandre

Hi Alexandre,
Trying to understand, so in your plugins/ folder you have plugins which
have different owners? Please make sure that the plugins extracted have
the same 'user, group and other' permissions set on them as the rest of
the eclipse plugins.
Regards,
Sri.
