Use 7zip.

Why are you downloading such an old version of Eclipse? Galileo was a
very good version, but Helios has proved to be rock-solid if you're too
squeamish to use Indigo.

Many a thanks Russell, gonna try with 7Zip. I am actually following a book on Android for absolute beginners so just downloaded Galileo as specified in there.

Can i use Helios or Indigo also instead Galileo ? Please suggest.

Thanks in advance.

I stopped doing Android a year ago. You are welcome to peruse my

Sounds like you have a corrupt download. Try to download again.
Perhaps use a different mirror.
