Hello.
I hope it's the right place to ask.
I have a problem with switching from c++ perspective to java. I'm able to see the all the projects (java and C++) in Project Explorer only when the C++ perspective is chosen. Switching to java causes the Project explorer to disappear and package explorer to appear. I can make a new java project by clicking in white space, however the project is visible only in project explorer and I have to switch to C++ persp. to see the new project. The weirdest thing - name of project of C++ project I made a long time ago appears at the top of the eclipse window: proj name - Java - Eclipse SDK.
And when I switch to java persp. I see that proj. name too in Package Explorer tab.
Could someone, give an advice how to fix this issue, please?
Thank you in advance.
Roman.

There shouldn't be a problem here, but if it's not particularly
important to you to see both types in the same workspace, you could
consider separate workspaces for Java and for C/C++. It's also possible
to maintain separate Eclipse installations for the two.

I'm not advising you to do this at all, I'm just saying that if your C++
and Java worlds don't overlap, separating them will certainly solve your
problem.

Also, don't overlook the Eclipse CDT forum where folk who use Eclipse
for C/C++ hang out to answer questions.
