Hi
i need to create this table in birt.
the date should by dimanic.
i am trying to use cross tabs but it doesnt give me the wanted functionality.

student name| mathematics | science
01/01/2010|02/01/2010|03/01/2010| 01/01/2010|02/01/2010|03/01/2010| stud1 82 83 84 52 52 53

stude2 52 52 98 65 67 52 the values of the months should be hiden , just the deviation of the grades should exist.

my data set is:

date | student | mathemathics| science

can you please help me to understans how it can be implemented?

Can you put some sample data in a text file to create a report off of?
If so post it and the desired output. For example you have dates, do
you want the years shown only?

hi

i have two flat files .dinamic2, dinamic3.

basiclly my original file looks like dinamic2, but i figure out some solution for my problem, where i duplicate 2 columns(type which is performance or availablity) and value (the original vLUE FOR PERFORMANCE/AVAILABILITY). i can creat those computed columns in the run time in birt as well.

but this solution is not good enough because it means i need to duplicate all data to performance and availability.

i tried taking different approach like the one in my second table, but in this case i cant add some additional columns like volums...

if you can give me some better solution it would be great.
