I have setup Eclipse PDT on Mac OS X via Zend's PDT All-in-One package and
cannot say how frustrated I am to get it to work right. How would I go
about enabling / installing this featuer from the Zend PDT package? Are
there any good guides on getting Eclipse PDT setup on Mac OS X?

Thanks!

if you're relating to the mysqli extension in the Zend bundle when running
PHP in the CLI mode, I suggest adding the appropriate extension line in
the php.ini file that is under the executable folder.
