Hi,

due to my earlier problems with the EMF installation, I now downloaded the all-in-one ZIP archive: emf-xsd-Update-2.7.1.zip

From an EMF FAQ (which seems rather outdated?) I saw that I am simply to copy the contents from the "features" and "plugins" folders into the corresponding eclipse folders.

Now I saw that the ZIP also contains a "binary" folder and two single JAR files. Also, the contents in the ZIP "features" folder consist of JAR files whereas the eclipse folder consists of more folders but no JAR files.

Before I mess up my installation: How do I install EMF from that ZIP?

Thanks,
Christian

Use the "All-In-One SDK (Runtime, Source, Doc)" download instead. What you have downloaded is meant to be installed using the "Install New Software" option from the Help menu.
