Hi all,
I have run several profiling sessions using TPTP 4.3 on a Linux machine.
When taking a look at the "Execution time" analysis, I see values of
-18.446.744.074,xxxxxx or -92.233.720.362.xxxxxx (the values are sometimes
positive as well).
These values represent durations of 1 million days?! I surely won't have
to mention, my application did not run that long... ;-)
Is this some known bug or is there a way to fix this issue? If not, TPTP
profiling of big applications is rather hard because e.g. the "UML2 Trace
Interactions" view will highlight hot spots which simply come from the
impossible values mentioned above.
It might be helpful to mention that my profiling data will be written to a
trcxml file on the profiled Linux host. Evaluation is done on a Windows XP
machine. I also use filters to reduce the amount of data generated.
Analysis is done using the new technology agent and "CGProf".
Thanks for your help.
Matthias
