Hi,

when you develop some acceleo module in your workspace, you may test it with a Acceleo Launch configuration.

Then, when you export the Acceleo project as plugin, and install it in another eclipse, you may run it with java call from one another plugin project.
But there is no more way of launching the installed module from an Acceleo launch configuration (since it requires some project/class from workspace).

Did you think about a way for offering to launch an installed acceleo module (may be based on some additional extension point) directly from a workbench menu/action/... ?

Thanks,
Fabien.

Hi,

This feature has already been requested, I think it would be a nice addition. In the mean time, if you want to have a launch configuration for your generator, you can fork the code that I have in this project: https://github.com/ObeoNetwork/UML-Java-Generation/tree/master/plugins/org.obeonetwork.pim.uml2.gen.java.ui

I have created, as a prototype, a launch configuration for an Acceleo UI plugin and its a feature that I would like in Acceleo too. I don't have any more information on this since I have not worked on such feature inside of Acceleo but if I can find some time it would be a welcomed addition.
