Hi,

using BIRT 3.7.1. Added images with URI in local file system. "d:\bla.gif"...
In preview and HTML export it works fine. In PDF only "The resource of this report item is not reachable".
Tried also with "file://...." nearly same result, in HTML o.k., no preview? and no PDF.
How can I address images locally in my file system using PDF report output?

Thx

Thomas

For me I've embedded my image in the report and it worked well. I don't know if there's an issue with using this option for you, but it's working perfectly for my report in every output format even the preview. I hope it helps.

Hi,

thanks for the hint but this doesn't work for me, because the images I wanna print are runtime created and located in temprorary folder and referenced by filename which is loaded from data source and used in the image uri via javascript expression.

Thx

Are you using forward slashes?
"file:///C:/work/imgs/test.png"
Worked for me.
