Hi,

Newcomer here (Ron) - pleased to meet you.

We are evaluating the Mylyn Gerrit connector using its weekly builds.

At some point I started getting the xsrfKey error when trying to "Validate" the Gerrit server using OpenID. A search in Google seems to indicate this is a problem with an expired or invalid session that prevents authentication within Eclipse.

There is no problem to authenticate to another Gerrit server - the problem is specific to this one. Additionally, authenticating to the server via web browser (not inside Eclipse) works too. Restarting Eclipse/Gerrit/Windows did not help.

Any help would be much appreciated, thanks.

Details from the Eclipse error log:

eclipse.buildId=M20110909-1335
java.version=1.6.0_30
java.vendor=Sun Microsystems Inc.
BootLoader constants: OS=win32, ARCH=x86_64, WS=win32, NL=en_US
Framework arguments: -product org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product
Command-line arguments: -os win32 -ws win32 -arch x86_64 -product org.eclipse.epp.package.jee.product

Hi,

thanks for the bug report. A related problem is tracked on this Bugzilla
bug:

370736: "Unexpected error: Invalid xsrfKey in request"
https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=370736

It would be great if you could comment on that bug and if possible provide
the URL to the Gerrit server to help reproduce the problem.

Steffen
