I'm using OpenSuse 12.1 and Eclipse Indigo (eclipse-cpp-indigo-SR1-incubation-linux-gtk-x86_64).

Files that I add as projects come from OpenFOAM and are written in C++.

Installation ran ok, without problems. I can launch Eclipse and add projects.

When I add a folder that contains files in it as a project and try to expand it, Eclipse crashes. If the folder has folders in it, I can expand it until the moment there are files in the folder.

The error message I get is attached. This error didn't occur when I was using OpenSuse 11.4.

How can I fix the problem?

Thanks,

Paulo

Did you read the sticky posts at the top of this forum? You'll likely
get more help with C/C++ development questions in the Eclipse CDT forum.

Yes, I did read it. But I thought this was not a development question, as it relates to a basic problem of opening a project file. But if you think so, I'll post my question there.
Thanks.

It's just that even though this isn't overtly C/C++, it has to do with
problems that may be more recognizable to those using Eclipse CDT. But,
I may be misteering you here. If so, I hope someone else will recognize
this problem and answer.

I shifted from openSuSE right about 11.1 to Ubunut and, though an
ex-Novell engineer, I haven't regretted my switch (until the advent of
Natty/Oneiric and Unity).

Best of luck.
