Hi Christoph,

there are some people working on a standardized SoaML Profile for Eclipse now:

http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/modeling.uml2profiles/

Think we will see a published SoaML profile soon.

As I am always interested in the usage of SoaML: Can you give us some more information about your purpose for SoaML?

Regards,

Tex

Hi all

I am using SoaML lpuging from the
.: SoaML Eclipse plug-in: Implementación del estándar de modelado de servicios SoaML como plug-in de Eclipse

I am trying to copy eclipse from old system to new system. I did simple copy paste with same folder structure and same location. Most or nearly all plugins are working except the SoamL plugin is not working.

Can any one please help me what should I do so that it start working. It is still working in the old system.

Do you know if I need to change a specific path in eclipse etc....

I will highly appreciate your help and support

Thanks

Hello aziz,

it is some time since I have worked on SoaML.

For our purpose I have chosen the original SoaML XMI and changed it so that it is working with EMF.

Have you considered contacting one of these people here?

http://www.eclipse.org/proposals/modeling.uml2profiles/

I will check whether our company can publish the profile and the created plugin.

Kind regards,

Hi everyone,

I am one of these people. We are currently working to fill the project with
life.

One of our first profile implementation will be the SoaML with additional
Papyrus integration.

But I cannot say when the implementation will be available. This also
depends on the formal process within the Eclipse foundation.

Regards,
Marc-Florian

Dear all,

Since I have not heard about progress in a long time on that topic, I made a first sketch of a SoaML profile on my own. Have not tested it in too much detail, but it looked promising to me.

If anyone is also interested in this, I'd be happy to share the code via GitHub. Feedback is welcome, and I'll incorporate pull requests to enhance the overall project. Additionally, if anybody of the Eclipse team is willing to pick this up, I'd be happy to contribute.

Repository Location: https://github.com/cemmersb/PapyrusSoaML

Kind regards,

Christoph
