Hi,

I'm new to TPTP 4.3 but would like to do functional testing of a local
windows XP web application running on Tomcat 5.5.20.

I tried to run the http-recorder but it just starts my IE and I can't
connect to any web page. I noticed that the recorder tries to listen to
port 1002, but I don't have anything listening on that port.

Do I need to set up the Agent Controler?
I downloaded and tried to set up the AC but it doesn't ask for the
installation directory of Tomcat only JBOSS and one other AS.

The AC is not starting correctly, I think.

Regards
Gunnar

Hi Gunnar,
You can install/run the Agent Controller or use the Interested Agent
Controller that run in-process with Eclipse.

When recording, the configured web browser will open. Once opened,
interact with your local or remote web application as normal. All HTTP
requests are recorded and converted into a TPTP URL Test.

For more information, see:
