Hi,

We have a very rich and chatty application, with data updated in multiple grids in multiple panels (and in some cases new ones created) with each click or tab overs.

I would think the support for web workers in RAP framework would provide better browser experience in such rich/chatty applications by spawning multiple background threads (making ajax calls) outside of UI thread ?

Any plans for introducing Web Worker support in RAP ?

Thanks,

-Sudhir

Hi Sudhir,

that would be a very interesting feature, but we currently don't have
the cycles to start working on it. There is already a feature request
for WebSockets [1], I'm currently not sure how this is related to
WebWorkers.

Regards, Ralf
