Where is the right thread to post problems with the website itself?

I've tried offering help to several C++ question only to have the connection reset almost every time, loosing my rather lengthy replies.

This is a good place. The folk who maintain the forums read this one.

You could also try NNTP if that suits you or you plan on staying and

For how long are you "idle" on the page, while typing your response? Since our servers don't know you're busy typing a response, your connection may be timing-out.
