Hey all,

I'm experiencing some problems using Eclipse. I'm using eclipse indigo 3.7.1 64 bit version for Linux on Ubuntu 10.04, and at random times the editor just goes crazy. It would not input nor display text correctly. It's kinda hard to describe what it does, so I'll just upload an image. These are the things currently installed:

ACTF Visualization Extension for PDT Feature (Incubation)	0.9.1.R201109141305	org.eclipse.actf.visualization.ui.pdt.feature.group	Eclipse.org
Eclipse IDE for Java Developers	1.4.1.20110909-1818	epp.package.java	null
Native JavaHL 1.6 Implementation (Optional)	2.2.2.I20110819-1700	org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.javahl16.feature.group	Polarion Software
PHP Development Tools (PDT) SDK Feature	3.0.0.v20110516-1100-77--84_23JBVgSVXO7XGJz0VLa9O	org.eclipse.php.sdk.feature.group	Eclipse.org
Subversive Revision Graph (Optional) (Incubation)	0.7.9.I20110602-1700	org.eclipse.team.svn.revision.graph.feature.group	Eclipse.org
Subversive SVN Connectors	2.2.2.I20110819-1700	org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.feature.group	Polarion Software
Subversive SVN Team Provider (Incubation)	0.7.9.I20110819-1700	org.eclipse.team.svn.feature.group	Eclipse.org
SVNKit 1.3.5 Implementation (Optional)	2.2.2.I20110819-1700	org.polarion.eclipse.team.svn.connector.svnkit16.feature.group	Polarion Software

I have three PHP projects in current workspace.
Java version is:
java -version
java version "1.7.0_02"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_02-b13)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 22.0-b10, mixed mode)

I've attached a detailed error log. I'm no java developer and have absolutely no idea what could be the problem here. Also, "reinstalling" the eclipse does not help, the problem appears over and over again. So if anyone has any ideas, it is greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance.

Your environment apart, the parser of PDT 3.0.0 is being broken and is being abandoned.
See https://bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=350139
also 349127,350379,350468,351737,353376,357868,365837,366313,368510,369320,etc.
You can try Zend-PDT - These downloads include Eclipse 3.7.1 and PDT 3.0.2 (see http://www.eclipse.org/pdt/downloads/)
or personal(unofficial/unorthorized) feature patch - http://sourceforge.jp/users/atlanto/pf/eclipse/files/?id=435
