Hi,

How can I set up my application to connect to an update site via ftp? I added a site in the preferences, but I am not able to set the credentials (username/password). After trying to connect, I got first a FtpLoginException on second try a FtpProtocolException: PORT :500 Illegal PORT commans EPSV ALL in effect. What can I do?

Thanks a lot!

Christian

I don't think protected ftp based repositories have been tested.
It is very likely that the FtpLoginException is not handled correctly in
p2 - it should get stored credentials, or if that is missing prompt for
credentials if there is an UI available.

Think you should log an issue for p2.

Hi, Henrik

thank you for answering. The FTP Site in question allows read access as user anonymous without password. Is there an opportunity to connect, read the repository and update an application this way?

Regards!
