How do I save a file *outside* a project? After creating a new Untitled Text File, I just want to save it to my hard drive somewhere. Save As asks me to select a project or 'enter a folder'. If I copy/paste the path to a folder somewhere, it says it isn't a project. Yeah, no duh. Just save my text file please... Searching on Google didn't turn up anything helpful. Searching on here didn't either.

No can do. Eclipse is project-centric; it will allow you to open a file
that's not part of a project but not write to files outside a project.
You can, however, create a project that is rooted anywhere in your
filesystem and then use Eclipse to create/write files there.
