Hi Emmanuel,
You may want to post your question the PDE news group.

TPTP does provide a JUnit Plug-in test type for unit testing plug-ins
( http://help.eclipse.org/help32/topic/org.eclipse.hyades.test .doc.user/concepts/cintro.htm)
and an Automated GUI Recorder for UI testing plug-ins
( http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/test/documents/userguides/Intro- Auto-GUI-4-4-0.html).
