I had Eclipse for quite some time until I installed Andriod ADT (I think it is called that) to it..then it would not open. It gave me some error so I deleted Eclipse (deleted..not uninstalled because I cannot find an option for that anywhere). I tried to reinstall it but get the same error:

Error: could not find Java SE Runtime Environment

Then when I click okay, it gives me a bigger window with a lot of errors or what not.

Help please? Thanks.

Do you mean that when you launch your newly installed Eclipse, you get
this error?

Follow the advice from http://wiki.eclipse.org/Eclipse.ini .
