Hello all,

We have MySQL 5.5 server installed, however the latest JDBC driver version available for it is 5.1. BIRT doesn't allow this or an earlier driver to be specified, so we are stuck. The screenshot is in the attachment. Any thoughts?

Have you selected the Jar List tab and added the new jar?

That should be fine. On the new Driver Definition window select the 5.1
version and then select the Jar List tab, remove the the entry that is
automatically added and click on the add Jar/ZIP button. Add the 5.1
driver download and click ok. You may have to change the driver name
from MySQL JDBC Driver to something like My MySQL JDBC Driver. Ie just
change the name.
