Why are original urls added to available sites when installing from a local mirror [message #768789] |

Hi to all,
I created a local mirror, which is a composite-updatesite. The different parts I aggregated with b3 aggregator and saved them under one root-directory in different subdirectories.
When I configure this mirrorsite as available updatesite in eclipse, I can install all features I want, what's really cool.
But the origin urls from all updatesites are added as available updatesite, too. Is it possible to avoid this behaviour?
Best regards
Markus

The answer is yes ;) you can filter out the update sites contributed by
the aggregated sites. I know this because this is the major feature for
some of the b3 aggregator users/sponsors as they want to assemble their
own repositories behind their firewall.
Did you find any information on the b3 aggregator wiki/documentation?
I have not actually done any such filtering myself, so can't really tell
you exactly what to do.
Hope someone else chimes in, or that you find the info you need on the wiki.
Regards
