Hi

I created jMeter test case for a user A which has single menu option .It runs perfectly fine from command line.

Now i run the jMeter test case for a user B which has different menu option. It has all the options for user A + some more options.

Now the test fails when i run this from command line for user B. I get below exception.

This will be difficult to create test cases if you have to make the test case for these kinds of sceanrio.

java.lang.ClassCastException: org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Menu cannot be cast to org.eclipse.swt.widgets.Control
org.eclipse.swt.internal.widgets.shellkit.ShellLCA.setActiveControl(ShellLCA.java:228)

org.eclipse.core.databinding.observable.Realm.runWithDefault(Realm.java:332)
org.eclipse.ui.internal.Workbench.createAndRunWorkbench(Workbench.java:685)

How can we overcome this??

Thanks
Raj

I created work around by creating a super user in the system which has all the options so i do not get this exception any more.

Hi,

JMeter is a tool to record and replay every single request of a user
session. During the test, the exact same user interaction is being
replayed. If another user has different UI elements, you have to make a
separate test for it.

Regards, Ralf
