Hi

After recording the test cases in Jmeter and running it...I sometimes see the response as

org.eclipse.rwt.protocol.Processor.processMessage( {
"meta": {
"requestCounter": 19
},
"operations": []
} );/*EOM*/

and after this all the responses are same only the request counter changes.

Can anybody throw some light..what does it mean...

Thanks
Raj

Hi Raj,

do you use the exact same version of RAP that you recorded the tests
with? The JSON you see in the response is the new protocol, wrapped in a
JavaScript call. With 1.5M4, it's now only JSON.

I can't tell you why the responses are empty, maybe you find a pointer
in this document [1]?

Regards, Ralf

In this case I have no idea what causes the problem. The response code
you posted is simply an empty response (with RAP 1.5M4 it's now plain
JSON). What do the requests look like? Are there listeners not being
called in response to the changes reported by the client?

This won't work. There were substantial changes to the communication
protocol between M3 and M4. As I said, you have to record and replay
JMeter tests using the same version of RAP.

In future versions the protocol will stabilize and your tests are less
likely to break between milestone versions.
