Hi all,
I am not able to start the Agent Controller on Linux machine.
I have installed "agntctrl.linux_ia32-TPTP-4.2.1" on Linux (SLES 10 and RHEL
7.3).
The SetConfig.sh got executed properly, but on running RAServer, following
error is thrown:
#./RAServer
../ACServer: error while loading shared libraries:
/dinesh/agntctrl.linux_ia32-TPTP-4.2.1/lib/libtptpUtils.so.4 : file too short
I have tried this with IBM JVM 1.5.1 as well 1.4.2. But I guess JVM seems to
be not the issue here.
I have also ensured the things mentioned in "Prerequisites" as well
"Configuring and Starting Agent Controller"
which is documented at the below link:
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/installguide/agen tcontroller_42/linux_ia32/getting_started.html
Please let me know. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,
Dinesh

Hi Samson,
Thanks a lot for the help you provided. I used unzip utility and ran the
SetConfig utility.
I am running this on SLES 10 and using "New Tchnology Agent Controller"
downloaded from -
http://www.eclipse.org/tptp/home/downloads/drops/TPTP-4.3.0- 200610310100.html
On starting the Agent Controller daemon (./ACStart.sh), it says:
Error starting transport layers, Agent controller exiting.
See servicelog.log for error report.
ACServer failed to start.
I couldn't figure out the problem with it. Any help with this will be
greatly appreciated.
The log file <install-dir>/config/servicelog.log contains following
information logged with it:

Given that the original logfile that Dinesh gave us indicated that there
was a problem initializing the SharedMemTL, I think we need to add the
following to the list of things to try:
ipcs
Then ipcrm the shared memory fragments lingering.

Hi Randy,
Thanks for having a deep look into it. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out
what exactly you mean by following:
"I think we need to add the following to the list of things to try:
ipcs
Then ipcrm the shared memory fragments lingering."
By this, do you mean its a bug with the New Technology Agent Controller 4.3
on SLES 10?
or do you mean to say modifying something with the serviceconfig.xml file,
which will make it work?
Please let me know,
Thanks,
-Dinesh Jain.
