Hi,

update site http://download.eclipse.org/tools/pdt/updates/2.0/milestones / doesn't work
404-doc-not-found and there are already 2 versions of the PDT 2.0.0 milestones

You could create some bash script, which will be update this site automaticlly after build
or something similar.

Sorry about that. Give it 60 mins to replicate across nodes and mirrors.
Meanwhile, drop the "2.0/" and you can get the latest PDT S build.

There are newer I builds in 2.0/interim/, however.

It's already ok, I have one important suggestion, before post to newsgroup and PDT mailist
that is here new integration build or any type of release, you should first update release
notes, update sites and not vice versa.

Thank you for update milestone site ;) it's not for me but for users.

As noted on another thread...

* release notes are backed by a database. It currently updates once a
day @ 2am EST (GMT-5).

* downloads appear on the site 30-60 mins after being scp'd onto the
server. This mirror delay is unavoidable, it's the way the Eclipse
server farm works.

So... here's a question to all PDT users.

Is it reasonable to announce something is available but have you
understand that it's really "almost" available? Or would it be better to
delay the announcement until after the db update and mirror replication
is done, so the links work immediately, rather than some time thereafter?

So I fully understand.

But I have only one suggestion. I hope that you can setup how the announcement looks(i
don't knwo if you uderstand me), but would be better if in announcement emails was some
info that the release notes and download site will be udpated in xxx minutes or at xx
time, because this info many users don't know. And all this problems will be resolved.

Thank you for your time

Good idea. I've opened a bug for that.
