Hi,
there an excellent book "EMF: Eclipse Modeling Framework, by Dave
Steinberg; Frank Budinsky; Marcelo Paternostro; Ed Merks". I'm looking
for something similar, but about eclipse uml2.
Javadoc is not always clear and understandable.

Hi
The UML2 Developer Guide in the Help Contents provides quite a lot of
examples about MDT/UML2 itself. If you read some of it you will find
that it is very boring and predictable and so if there was more you
would not read it. The EMF book has reasonable, but hardly best seller
sales; a UML2 book would either have tiny sales or be a UML book and so
omit all the subtle details.
In principle, MDT/UML2 'just' provides an implementation of the OMG
meta-model, so any OMG UML documentation should be applicable.
I feel that it is not unreasonable to expect that users working with the
MDT/UML2 model should be experienced in the use of models and able to
extrapolate from EMF. A search of all classes with "Util" in their names
will find nearly all the novel stuff.
Of course if you can provide funding for a book, you may manage to
instill some enthusiasm in a book.
