Hi,

I have created a plugin in xtext that has a little grammer and show content assist for object properties. But when I installed it using eclipse install manager, that content assist does not appear.

Hi,

are you sure you have all requirements installed? doyou have synatx highlighting? if your rightklick the model files
and say open with - does there yourdsl editor appear?

Yes syntex is highliting and it shows help on completing the syntex but the object properties content assist isn't available...

Hmmm, have no idea what is going wrong. Are you sure the highlighting comes from an Xtext editor? Regards Christian

problem solved, it was plugin problem.

I have another question, can I install my plugin on eclipse that doesn't have xtext featured installed? When I tried to install it on eclipse that doesn't have xtext installed, it failed as required xtext runtime.

So what are the minimum requirement to install the plugin?
