I would like to select a menu item from a nested context menu.
For example right click on a project and from the appeared context menu select "Run As", and then on its turn select "Run Configuration".

Is this possible with Jooomla and how?

In the reference manual, you can find the action description for context menu actions:

Look for e.g. "Select Context Menu Entry by Textpath" in the page.
