Hi everybody.

I would like to know if it's possible to extend sysml metaclasses in papyrus, that is to apply uml profiling mechanism to sysml?

Hey Denis,

I am trying to do the same thing in the Papyrus SysML editor in Topcased 5.2.0. When trying to use Import Metaclass in a Papyrus Profile model I can only import UML metaclasses and not e.g. sysml::requirement. Is there an answer to this question yet?

Kind regards,
Antonius

Hi, Antonius,

Papyrus SysML is a UML profile for SysML. SysML::Requirement is a
stereotype; it isn't a metaclass.

If your profile needs to extend the SysML profile, then perhaps it
should import the SysML profile via package import and specialize its
stereotypes, or define associations to its stereotypes, as appropriate.

HTH,

Christian
