Hello,

I have a RAP application running on Virgo 2.1.1 and I wanted to upgrade my application to the latest RAP (1.5) and Virgo (3.0.1). Unfortunately I wasn't successfull because there has been a bug (id=357804)that currently prevents the org.eclipse.equinox.registry bundle being started. Any plans to release the 3.5.0M1 anytime soon? I think anyone using RAP on Virgo after version 2.1.1 is affected by this...

Thanks for your help as I urgently need this for my project Rolling Eyes

We are considering a 3.0.2 release next week that will include the bug fix (357804) you mentioned.

Since this will be Virgo release you will most probably need to manually patch in Equinox 3.8 to get the fixes in equinox.registry as well.

Will this work for you?

Great news !!! If by patching you mean changing the references in the org.eclipse.virgo.kernel.launch.properties to reference the libraries in the equinox 3.8Mx release and update the equinox bundles in the lib directorty of virgo then that works fine for me. In case I missed something please let me know...

Cheers,
arez
