I am trying to install and setup a second copy of eclipse with JBoss AS and Java. After adding the JRE and the JBoss AS server to this eclipse I try to start the server and I get the error message "The specified JRE installation does not exist". I took a look at my Install Details > Configuration information and some location paths are set with / in the place of \.

The first copy of eclipse runs the server and its configuration directory name \ are correct for a windows system.

Is their a setting that I missed on this second copy of eclipse? What controls these forward or backward slashes.

I finally fixed the problem by:
1) I renamed the current JRE by adding Old to the end of the name
2) added it back to eclispe and deleted the OLD one
2) Then I removed the JBoss server and added it back with the new JRE.

Now it is working
