Hi

What are the plans concerning (multi)touch support in SWT on Linux ?
I could not find anything in the roadmap (the link 3.8 development plan
points to a doc containing issues for 4.2....), a query in Bugzilla for
issues targeting 3.8 also revealed nothing particular concerning touch.

Maybe someone of the developer team can provide an answer? Would be greatly
appreciated

regards Bernhard

Hi Bernhard,

GTK 2.x does not provide native support for this, so it's not something
that swt can currently expose. I think that gtk 3.x does provide
multi-touch support, so when swt moves up to use gtk 3.x then this
should be exposed. SWT is not moving up to gtk 3.x for the upcoming
3.8/4.2 release, but perhaps soon after (cannot say for sure at this
point because planning for future releases has not begun).
