Eclipse RCP app slow on secondary display [message #754392]

This is a tough one. We have an Eclipse RCP application that includes a view with a Swing based UI embedded in the view (using the SWT/AWT bridge). When this view is moved or detached onto the secondary display the entire app gets very unresponsive. As soon as you reattach the view onto the primary display or move the app back onto the primary display it gets responsive again. Anyone ever seen this behaviour before? Any thoughts on why this would occur?
