Hello,

I have a question. I've been trying to perform SVN actions (update/commit/etc...) directly from Eclipse (i have Eclipse Helios), but with little success. I always get a 'connection refused by server' message.

If for example, i try to do a Team->Update, i get the following error.
Update operation failed.
Some resources were not updated.
svn: connection refused by the server
svn: OPTIONs request failed on 'repo/location/trunk'

Does anyone know what i must do in order to be able to perform SVN actions directly from Eclipse?

I must add that i can perform SVN actions from command line. I just can't do them directly from Eclipse.

Hallo Sano
If I understand you right you have a working copy checked out on your computer. Eclipse has all necessary components to work with SVN.

To check this please try this:
Start Eclipse (I do so, using Helios release)
Open "SVN Repository Exploring" Perspective
(Windows->Open Perspective->Other->SVN Repository Exploring)

Do you have a repository location set up? If not, please set up your repo server as a repository location. Maybe it is necessary to login to the SVn Server, this may also be your initial problem.

Now, if this is set up try browsing the repository. If this is possible there should be no problems with access rights or login. Now please disconnect the project from SVN and reconnect using this repository location.
