Hi Min, I will also be eager to view other comments but at least i know
that some other formats like .uml and .ecore and written in xmi file
format. So xmi will be the underlaying language but the file formats are
different. I wonder what else u mean by file formats !!!

My understanding is that, an ATL rule transform always produces the output
in XMI (while the output data/content can express/represent an UML model,
any model based on MOF, or models of other metamodel languages).
What I'm interested in, is getting an ATL rule transform output in a
non-XMI format. I am not sure if it is possible with ATL rules. I think
that an ATL rule transform always gives a file in XMI. Please confirm.
