Hi,

When will CDO for Eclipse 3.3 / EMF 2.3 be released?

Btw. it seems that the tests of the latest builds failed:
http://emft.eclipse.org/emft/downloads/index.php?project=cdo &showAll=0&showMax=10&sortBy=date

Thanks,

Tom

Hi Thomas,

I'm working on the new version of CDO for several months now.
It will work with Eclipse 3.3 and EMF 2.3 and have many interesting new features like transparent versioning and audit/time travel.
Hard to say when it will be finished but I plan to publish pre-releases with the old functionality as soon as possible.
I guess that some weeks will pass until then.

While I was working on the new version the build system of the previous version stopped working for mysterious reasons.
I spent days (with the help of Nick) to figure out the root cause, without success ;-(
Since the new version of CDO is a complete rewrite and there are no bugs reported against the old version I decided to concentrate on the the version.

Cheers
/Eike
