Hi,

We are using Birt3.7 to generates reports in PDF. The font in pdf defaults to Time New Roman. In windows the font used is Arial for the same report, but when deployed in Linux it defaults to Times New Roman.Is there any way we can get the pdf in Arial font in Linux as well.

We do not have any folders like below in our linux server.
/usr/share/fonts/default/truetype.
/usr/share/fonts/truetype.

What configuration changes can me made to use Arial in linux for pdf reports.

Any help regarding this is appreciated.

I had the same problem, solved copying the font file from Windows in Linux directory, according your Birt configuration.

or you can copy font files in your project and modify your BIRT configuration to take these font files.

hi,

I tried copying to a loacation, and specified
setFontDirectory() while rendering pdf doc, but it did not work..

Could you please put some light on how you implemented and what configuration changes you made .
