Hi,

I'm getting this exception in large amounts when dragging compartments.

java.lang.NullPointerException

From what I can tell, this is the same exception described (and fixed) in Bug 348503.

Is there a way to download a version of the GMF Runtime with this bug fix? Or how can I apply this fix to my GMF Runtime (Indigo, using GMF version 1.5.0).

Have temporarily resolved this issue with the help of http ://gmfsamples.tuxfamily.org/wiki/doku.php?id=gmf_tutorial5

The hack was to override the getContraint(IFigure child) method in my custom layout and return a dummy constraint Rectangle.

I would still be interested on getting my hands on the bug fix posted above.

Hello,

#348503 you are referring to was fixed in the context of the one specific editor inside Papyrus project.
It would be definitely better to fix it inside the GMF runtime, so I've submitted Bugzilla #361294, and have proposed patch with simple NPE fix.
